Leah is a witch with a talent for reading people's fates, but in her own life, she's adrift and plagued by inscrutable visions of drowning. Seeking rest and answers, she stays at her aunt's seaside cottage, along with her frog familiar, Arlo. |
While foraging on the beach, she meets a mermaid and kindred spirit named Sha, and invites her to dinner. That evening, a storm rolls in from the sea and Leah offers Sha refuge at the cottage. |
The longer Sha stays with Leah, the more she remembers about the human life she lost, and the more their attraction grows. Still, Sha cannot fight the call of the sea forever. |
Leah believes she can help Sha reclaim her life, but Sha needs to face the depths of her past to change her fate. Is magic enough to guide her, or is she condemning them both to the sea? |
